Coronavirus reinfection occurs among people with underlying medical conditions. This leads to a decrease in the body’s resistance level to the virus.
This was stated by the Deputy Director General of the Center for Public Health Alexander Matskov on the air “Ukraine 24”.
According to him, isolated cases of coronavirus reinfection have now been recorded in Ukraine.
“Reinfection is a unique case. Each of these cases requires a detailed analysis, as it is necessary to confirm that it is a repeat case,” Matskov said.
We will recall, the Ministry of Health plans to monitor the repeated illnesses of the coronavirus in Ukraine.
In addition, during the last day, 4,420 new cases of coronavirus were registered in Ukraine. Most of the diseases are found in the Kharkov, Sumy, Rivne, Khmelnytsky regions.
We add that President Vladimir Zelensky gave a series of instructions regarding the increase in the incidence of the coronavirus.
