The daily increase in new cases of coronavirus infection in Ukraine in November may exceed 10 thousand.
This opinion was expressed on the air of the television channel Obozrevatel by the doctor-epidemiologist Andrei Alexandrin. “We will definitely have a fairly serious increase in COVID-19. I think that in November we will see an incidence of at least 10-12 thousand daily,” he predicted.
According to the doctor, the forecast of the World Health Organization for Ukraine, 9 thousand new cases of coronavirus per day, is too optimistic. “I think this is not the limit,” he said.
“In addition to COVID-19, we have entered the season of acute respiratory diseases. In addition to the fact that today each of us has a high probability of becoming infected with COVID-19, we can still simultaneously become infected with adenovirus, rhinovirus and parainfluenza.” Alexandrin explained. …
In this context, he stressed that in the current situation it is of utmost importance to “work in each contact”, as well as to increase the efficiency of the state health system.
