515 new cases were detected in Ukraine per day
Coronavirus in Ukraine on May 10 It does not reduce the daily rate of spread and has about five hundred people. During the last day, 515 new cases of COVID-19 infection were registered. Currently, the official number of people infected with coronavirus is 14,710, including 1,026 children and 2,854 doctors. As a result of the complications caused by the infection, 376 people died. Statistics by regions on May 10
Chernivtsi Region – 2179 infected. The region continues to lead the country in the number of coronaviruses infected. So, during the last day, according to the Regional State Administration, more than 80 new cases of infection were registered, most of the patients were in Chernivtsi. Three new deaths are also reported: the 65-year-old resident of the Glybotsky region, the 62-year-old woman from Storozhinechchina and the 70-year-old Chernivtsi died. The first infection in the area was confirmed on March 3.
Kiev – 1771 infected. According to the mayor, in the capital on the last day, fifty new COVID-19 infections were registered, including 12 doctors and three children. Sick: 21 women from 34 to 76 years old, 26 men from 17 to 79 years old, three children. Two deaths have also been reported in the last day. The first case of COVID-19 in Kiev was confirmed on March 16.
Ivano-Frankivsk region – 1095 infected. In the Carpathian region, during the last day, 20 new cases of infection were detected and the number of recovered amounted to 181 people. This was reported by the Center for Public Health of Ukraine. The first case of COVID-19 in the region was discovered on March 19.
Ternopil Region – 977 infected. As of today in the Ternopil region, COVID-19 has been confirmed in 977 people, of whom 64 are children. 18 people died, 282 infected recovered. During the last day, 18 people were infected with coronavirus. The first infection was detected in the region on March 20.
Kiev region – 959 infected. According to the local RSA, 24 cases of coronavirus were detected in the region per day, of which 88 were children and 135 medical workers. In total, the Kiev-Svyatoshinsky district is the leader in the region – 317 people and the Obukhov district – 172 cases. The infection was first detected on March 17.
Rivne Region – 877 infected. According to the local RSA, During the last day, 27 people have been infected. To date, 219 patients have been hospitalized in the area with a diagnosis of COVID-19, of whom 16 are doctors and three children. A person in serious condition is connected to mechanical ventilation. 165 patients recovered, 19 people died. The first infection in the area was confirmed on March 27.
Lviv region – 699 infected. Compared to the last days that anti-registrations were recorded in terms of the number of infected COVID-19s, the number of new cases in the region decreased. According to the Lviv City Council, during the last day in the region 39 new infections with coronavirus were confirmed. The first case of infection was registered in the region on March 20.
Dnipropetrovsk region – 681 infected. To date, 230 cases of COVID-19 infection have been registered in the Dnieper, as reported by the City Council’s Health Department. 95 people are in hospitals, four are in serious condition, 85 are being cared for in their homes. Due to the complications caused by the coronavirus, two people died. For the first time, a coronavirus infection was detected in the Dnepropetrovsk region on March 19.
Transcarpathian region – 678 infected. According to RSA, the COVID-19 outbreak was recorded in the Vinogradovsky district in the Roma settlement. During the past month, the coronavirus was confirmed in 36 cases in this area, two of which were fatal. The first official confirmation of COVID-19 in the region was registered on March 26.
Odessa region – 619 infected. According to the mayor’s office, 619 cases of coronavirus have been laboratory confirmed in the region, of which 98 are Odessa residents. During the last day, 36 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the region, including two from Odessa residents. For the first time, the coronavirus was confirmed on March 24.
Kharkiv region: 528 infected. According to the RSA, on the last day in the region, coronavirus was confirmed in 52 cases, including 6 doctors and a 5-month-old boy. Three new deaths from COVID-19 are also reported: a 63-year-old resident of the Zolochevsky district, a 49-year-old resident of the Kharkov region and an 81-year-old Kharkov woman. The first coronavirus infection in the area was detected on March 28.
Vinnytsia region: 522 infected. To date, there have been 259 cases of coronavirus infection in Vinnitsa, of which 59 are doctors and 13 children. 151 people recovered, two died. It should be noted that the number of patients who are treated in a hospital has increased and today is 35 people. Additionally, the case rate per day increased. During the last day in Vinnitsa, 20 people fell ill. The first case of coronavirus in the area was diagnosed on March 25.
Zhitomir region – 485 infected. According to local RSA, 5 new cases of infection have been identified in the Zhitomir region in the last 24 hours. In total, there are 485 cases of COVID-19 infection in the region, of which 47 patients recovered, 11 died. The first infection in the area was confirmed on March 12.
Volyn region: 445 infected. During the last day, according to the local regional state administration, 21 people fell ill in Volyn. In total, there are 445 cases of COVID-19 in the region today. The largest number is in Lutsk – 116, Kovel district – 67, Novovolynsk – 56, Kivertsy district – 53 people. The first COVID-19 case in the area was officially confirmed on March 25.
Kirovograd region – 411 infected. According to the local Regional State Administration, the 63-year-old doctor at the Children’s Regional Hospital, who had been on mechanical ventilation for a long time, died of coronavirus. Previously, his brother, also a doctor, a doctor at the Emergency Medicine Center, died of COVID-19. The first coronavirus infection in the area was detected on March 29.
Cherkasy region: 333 infected. According to the Ministry of Health, in the region on the last day, two people became ill with COVID-19. In total, today in the region there have been 333 cases of infection, including 186 people who have recovered, 12 – have died. The first case of coronavirus was registered in the area on March 22.
Zaporizhzhya region – 320 infected. To date, 320 residents have been found in COVID-19, of whom 119 have recovered, 7 have died. In Zaporozhye, the number of infected people is 233, of which 62 patients have already recovered and two have died. In the region, the first case of coronavirus infection was registered on March 25.
Poltava region – 240 infected. Today in Kremenchug, according to the mayor, a new case of COVID-19 was confirmed. A 68-year-old woman became ill, her condition is satisfactory. A recovered patient is also reported. The first case of COVID-19 in the Poltava region was discovered on March 27.
Nikolaev region – 204 infected. The local OGA reports 20 new cases of COVID-19 infection in the last 24 hours. And the total number of infected people in the region increased to 221 people, of whom 45 are doctors. The largest number of infected: 54 people – in the Domanovo district, 41 – in Voznesensky, 36 – in New Odessa, 35 in Nikolaev and Yuzhnoukrainsk. The first official confirmation of COVID-19 in the region was registered on April 11.
Khmelnitsky region – 165 infected. According to the local RSA, to date, 175 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the region, of which 49 have recovered, 7 have died. During the last day, 5 new cases were revealed: four residents of Netishin, workers at the Khmelnitsky nuclear power plant and one in the Dunaevets district. The first case of COVID-19 infection in the area was confirmed on March 27.
Kherson Region – 156 infected. According to the RSA, three cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the region in the past 24 hours. Sick Kherson, 53, and two women from the Kakhovka district at the age of 22 and 52. About 11 recovered in the last day were also reported. In total, the coronavirus was confirmed in 159 people. The infection was first detected in the region on March 25.
Sumy Region: 152 infected. In the Sumy region, 5 new patients with a diagnosis of COVID-19 were registered today. The first coronavirus case was found in Buryn in a pensioner who returned from Kiev, as reported by the local district hospital. The first coronavirus infection in the area occurred on March 25.
Donetsk region – 99 infected. During the last day in the region, two new outbreaks of coronavirus were registered. The infection was found in the Volnovakhsky district of an 81-year-old pensioner and Svyatogorsk in a 63-year-old woman. In addition, in Mariupol there are 4 new cases: two children aged 8 and 5 and two women aged 22 and 52. The first official case of coronavirus in the region was confirmed on March 18.
Chernihiv region – 73 infected. According to the State Regional Administration, on the last day in the region, a new case of coronavirus infection was discovered in a resident of the Bobrovitsky district. In total, 73 cases of infection have been registered in the region today, of which 18 patients recovered, 6 died. The first case of infection in the region occurred on March 26.
Lugansk Region: 42 infected. Since the beginning of the epidemic in the Lugansk region, 42 people became ill with coronaviruses, of which 13 recovered and 29 continued to be treated. Coronavirus infection in the area was first confirmed on March 25.
