In Ukraine, during the last day, 13,825 coronaviruses were confirmed in people. There are 713 children and 629 medical workers among the new patients.
This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Health, Maxim Stepanov, on his Facebook page.
During the last day, 1,504 people were hospitalized for coronavirus in Ukraine. 226 Ukrainians died from complications of the disease. At the same time, 14,724 people recovered from COVID-19.
Yesterday, the laboratory centers carried out 67,533 tests for coronavirus: 44,538 by PCR and 22,995 by ELISA.
The highest number of confirmed cases was recorded in the Kiev (1,541), Dnepropetrovsk (1,058), Odessa (1,015), Zaporozhye (1001) and Kiev (995) regions.
Recall that a record number of new cases of COVID-19 was registered in the world on Friday. During the day, the coronavirus was diagnosed in more than 680 thousand inhabitants of the planet, at the same time, more than 12 thousand people became victims of the disease.
Furthermore, RBC-Ukraine wrote that the daily number of new coronavirus cases in Ukraine again exceeded 15 thousand. In the country, for almost a week, the number of new cases did not reach 15 thousand.
In addition, this week in Ukraine registered a positive trend in the spread of the coronavirus: in two days, the number of new cases was less than that of patients who recovered from COVID-19.
