In Kiev, on Independence Square, on May 3, there were individual protests by businessmen (FOPs) for the rights guaranteed by the Constitution. Several dozen people opposed the quarantine for the right to work and equal business opportunities.
One of its participants, a public figure Sergei Dorotich, wrote about the protest on Facebook.
Protesters came to the plaza with homemade posters on which various slogans were written: “Cancel the murderous audit”, “Small companies in quarantine”, “I have the right to work”, “Let’s defend the simplified tax system together”.
The businessmen tried to comply with the quarantine restrictions: they all wore personal protective equipment, kept a safe distance.
On the eve of the action, Dorotich published the requirements. presented by FLP:
- Urgently eliminate restrictions and manage the entire business of the country, subject to compliance with sanitary and hygienic requirements.
- At the legislative level, abolish taxes on companies that were prohibited from doing business during the quarantine period.
- Introduce a moratorium on trade audits before regulatory reform.
- Urgently abolish murderous oversight for micro-entrepreneurship and the return of criminal money.
- Introduce preferential loans for microenterprises with unequivocal, simple and clear conditions for issuance.
Recall that business representatives already went out to protest on April 29.
As Strana wrote, Ukraine is not the only one whose residents are unhappy with the quarantine. People protest against restrictions in Europe and the United States.
