Healthy girl died in Ivano-Frankivsk of COVID-19
In Ivano-Frankivsk, a 19-year-old girl died of a coronavirus. She did not have concomitant diseases. The young woman was in hospital in serious condition on the verge of intubation. This was stated by the city’s mayor, Ruslan Martsinkiv, on his Facebook page.
“This night was tragic for us. A 19-year-old girl died of coronavirus at the Central City Clinical Hospital. She was not ill … This is a great tragedy, they could not save her,” Martsinkiv said in the video.
In addition, he said, a 44-year-old man who had diabetes but was diagnosed with COVID-19 also died in the city.
According to the Ministry of Health, 402 people were infected with coronavirus in 24 hours, 14 patients died from complications, 343 patients recovered. For the entire pandemic, the number of infected reached 16,425, 439 Ukrainians died, 3,716 patients were cured.
The highest number of infected per day was found in the Chernivtsi, Vinnitsa, Kharkov and Kiev regions.
Incidentally, in Kiev, there is a decrease in new cases of infection. In the last 24 hours, coronavirus tests have been confirmed in 30 Kiev residents. 5 patients were hospitalized, the rest are treated with self-isolation. In addition, 2 people died from complications of the disease in one day, 31 patients recovered.
