How the country lived on October 9, 2020
● The apocalypse has come and will last until spring… The country registered another, the third in a row, the maximum number of cases of coronavirus infection detected per day: now it is already 5,804. In addition, doctors identified 89 deaths, 2,417 patients recovered.
On this occasion, the Ministry of Health begins to prepare for the opening of temporary hospitals for patients with coronavirus. “The situation is more serious than ever since the beginning of the epidemic,” said the head of the department, Maxim Stepanov. He called on Ukrainians to comply with the rules against the epidemic. They say neglecting them can lead to the Covid-19 situation spiraling out of control.
And Oleg Ruban, doctor and the head of the Kiev Department of State Consumer Service said that the coronavirus behaves like other acute respiratory infections, so the weakening of the epidemic can only be expected in the spring of 2021.
In total, during the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 250 538 people fell ill, of which 110 650 recovered, deaths – 4779 …
● And the world record fell… Covid-19 reaches not only Ukrainians: according to the WHO, in the last 24 hours the coronavirus has been diagnosed in 338,779 inhabitants of the planet. This is a record (previous high – 330,000 – occurred on October 4).
In total, according to the WHO, the number of people infected by coronavirus in the world has exceeded 36 million and 1,049,810 patients have died.
Back to Ukraine:
● Kharkov, Kiev and Odessa get sicker than others… During the last day, most cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Kharkiv. (630), Odessa (403 is a record for the region), Khmelnytsky (330), Dnepropetrovsk (307), Ternopil (305) regions, as well as in Kiev (567 is a record for the region).
● Klitschko is alarmed by the beds… Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko called on the government to provide hospitals in the capital city with additional medical and bed capacity for Covid-19 patients. With such a request, he turned to Prime Minister Denis Shmygal and Health Minister Maxim Stepanov.
According to Klitschko, the occupation of medical institutions in the capital is already 70%. According to him, with such a dynamic for Covid-19 patients in Kiev’s communal medical institutions, there will soon not be enough places.
● Odessa prepares for the worst… In the Odessa region, they have already started deploying additional beds in hospitals due to increased morbidity. At the moment, 16 hospitals are admitting coronavirus patients in the region, their workload is 72%.
● Kharkiv in the coronavirus crisis… The situation with the coronavirus in the Kharkiv region is critical, the first wave support hospitals are completely full. This was stated by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Aleksey Kucher: “You know what dynamic we have now, almost every day among the anti-leaders. In fact, we have an orange zone, actually we are not even in the red one, but already in the black one. He added that 70% of the beds in the region are occupied by Covid-19 patients.
According to Kucher, the region is experiencing an acute shortage of medical personnel, not 20, as required, but 60 coronavirus patients per brigade …
I’ll distract you a little from Covid-19, – I’ll tell you about Zelensky and his team:
● Ermak is in no mood to blame the Russian Federation… The head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak, said that the strategy of Vladimir Zelensky’s team to achieve peace in Donbas is not to blame the Russian Federation for all the problems. He spoke about this the day before, while with the President in Britain, speaking at the Royal Institute of International Affairs at Chatham House.
«Our strategy is not to celebrate the war effort, nor to organize adult speeches and organize military parades. Our strategy is not to go out on television and blame the Russians for all our misfortunes, since frankly this does not help much to save the lives of the Ukrainians on the front line, ”Yermak said.
According to him, Ukraine should be “careful” and “balanced” with the Russian Federation to reduce tension between the countries.
● Zelensky was called evil… The police opened two criminal proceedings due to the incident that occurred on September 5 at the meeting of the mayor of Dnipro Boris Filatov with the voters. (ammonia was thrown at the mayor in it).
Filatov, however, said that he will now wear construction glasses in meetings with voters. And he pointed out that he was not afraid of either President Vladimir Zelensky or the oligarch Igor Kolomoisky: “The only thing I fear is that my eyes will not burn with green matter, ammonia and now, for example, with acid. I just want to see the day when all these evil spirits flee the country. “
Not only Filatov can be sharp on the tongue:
● Getmantsev ran into customs… The Ministry of Finance and the State Customs Service cannot cope with the task of reforming the latter. Daniil Getmantsev, member of the National Assembly and head of the financial, fiscal and customs policy committee, is sure of it.
«What have customs come to us now? We see that everything is very bad there. We understand that everything is wrong in numbers and we come to the conclusion that we have to change the leadership, we have to change the people, because not all the systemic solutions are being implemented, the reform is not underway. Under Maxim Nefyodov [экс-главе Гостаможни] even though the reform was underway – he said in an interview with EP. “At the same time, business is also a nightmare when ‘black’ trucks go through customs unhindered. That is, we understand that the leadership of the Ministry of Finance and Customs is not coping with the task. The fundamentals of personnel decisions are obvious. “
And for the end:
● Samsung will help you Behavior… The Ministry of Digital Transformation signed a memorandum with Samsung Electronics Ukraine Company on the joint development of the Diya service.
«The main aim of the cooperation is to make the electronic services on the Diya portal and the Action mobile app even more accessible and convenient for Ukrainians, ”the ministry said.
Remember what yesterday brought you, live in the present and hope for the future.
