In Ukraine, 2,884 coronavirus cases were confirmed per day. In total, since the start of the pandemic, 181,237 people have already fallen ill.
This is demonstrated by data from the National Defense and Security Council.
In addition, during the last day, 59 people died from coronavirus in the country. The total number of deaths is already 3,642. 79,901 patients have already recovered. 97,694 people remain active patients.
Most of the cases are in the Kharkiv (+372), Ternopil (+293), Odessa (+233) and Kiev (+275) regions.
As a reminder, compared to Monday, Ukraine recorded a slight increase in the number of detected COVID-19 cases. Yesterday 2675 cases of coronavirus were reported per day.
RBC-Ukraine also wrote that Health Minister Maxim Stepanov said that the situation with the spread of the coronavirus in the country was “quite tense.” Almost half of the hospital beds for COVID-19 patients are already occupied.
In addition, it was reported that the UN Secretary General called for greater international cooperation to combat COVID-19. He believes that only by joining forces can the coronavirus be defeated.
