In Ukraine, during the last day, 10,945 new cases of coronavirus were registered. Most of the infections are in the Kiev, Dnepropetrovsk, Kiev, Zhytomyr and Zaporozhye regions.
This was announced by the Minister of Health, Maxim Stepanov.
So, as of yesterday, most new cases were detected in the Kiev (+1212), Dnepropetrovsk (+1093), Kiev (+870), Zhytomyr (+812) and Zaporozhye (+642) regions.
During the day, 28,374 tests for coronavirus were carried out. Of these, 25 253 by PCR and 3 121 by ELISA.
Since the start of the pandemic, 635,689 people have already been infected, 11,075 (+124) have died, 4,143 have recovered. 344,629 patients continue to be active patients.
Please note that compared to the previous days, more than a thousand new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine. A day earlier, 12,079 new infections were confirmed.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine wrote that the representative of the Office of the President Kirill Tymoshenko did not rule out the introduction of a total blockade in Ukraine.
It was also reported that the World Health Organization has reported that Europe may face a third wave of coronavirus in early 2021.
