More than 450 patients became victims of COVID-19 in the country.

In Ukraine, 17 deaths per day were recorded among patients with the coronavirus COVID-19. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to data from a monitoring system for the spread of coronavirus from the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

Therefore, since the start of the pandemic in Ukraine, 456 people have already died from the coronavirus. At the same time, during the last day, the dynamics of mortality from COVID-19 increased again, a day before 14 fatal cases were registered.

Note that in Ukraine the number of people infected with coronavirus has increased to 16,847 people. An additional 422 cases of COVID-19 were recorded per day, which is 20 more than on May 12.

RBC-Ukraine also wrote that as of May 14, 4,429,744 people were diagnosed with coronaviruses worldwide, 298,174 of them died. At the same time, COVID-19 was registered in 212 countries around the world. The highest number of infected was recorded in the United States, where more than 1.4 million people fell ill.

Furthermore, the World Health Organization announced that the coronavirus pandemic threatens recent advances in health and progress towards the global goals outlined in the 2020 strategy.
