On Saturday, May 2, another border guard coronavirus infection was confirmed. RBC-Ukraine reports this with reference to the State Border Service of Ukraine (GPSU).

According to the agency, yesterday, the laboratory confirmed a coronavirus infection at a border guard in the Odessa region. The soldier has a mild course of the disease.

“The necessary disinfection of the facilities was carried out in the unit, other measures were taken, including self-isolation, and it is controlled by the department’s doctors who contacted the patient,” said the State Medical Service.

It is observed that as of May 3, 14 border guards suffer from coronavirus. At the same time, 1 soldier recovered from the disease.

Remember, as of April 18, only 4 cases of coronavirus were recorded in the ranks of the SPSU. The patients included border guards from the unit in the transcarpathian region. The first case of infection among border guards was recorded on April 15.

Furthermore, RBC-Ukraine wrote that during the last day 4 cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Recent cases of infection have been identified in the Kharkov and Dnepropetrovsk regions.
