As of December 5, in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 3,168 soldiers were ill with an acute respiratory illness COVID-19 caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
Overall, 7,878 people recovered during the pandemic in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the command of the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

There are 465 people in isolation. The number of soldiers whose isolation ends in the next three days is 75 people.
What is known about the latest deaths in the Armed Forces
29 soldiers died from complications since the beginning of the epidemic. During the last day, 2 deaths were recorded:
- An employee of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was treated at the Central Regional Hospital in the city of Kozelets (Chernihiv region). The result of the PCR test for COVID-19 dated November 23. He had concomitant chronic illnesses.
- An employee of the Armed Forces of Ukraine underwent treatment at the Central Regional Hospital in the city of Starokonstantinov (Khmelnytsky region). The result of the PCR test for COVID-19 dated November 30. The intensive therapy, unfortunately, did not give a positive result.
New cases of infection:
During the last recorded day 184 new cases of COVID-19. Of these, 26 people were hospitalized in health institutions:
- National Military Medical Clinic Center “GVKG” – 3 military personnel and 1 employee of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,
- Chernihiv military hospital – 8 military,
- Military Medical Clinic Center of the North and East Regions – 3 soldiers each,
- Desnyanskiy military hospital – 2 military,
- Military Medical Clinic Center of the Western, South and Central Regions, Belotserkovsky military hospital – 1 military each,
- Kiev and Zaporozhye GKB – 1 employee of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The health status of the patients is satisfactory, they receive the necessary treatment.
In home treatment 158 people are under the supervision of the medical service:
- Kiev region: 65 military personnel and 10 employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,
- Odessa region: 10 military personnel and 3 employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,
- Lviv region – 8 military,
- Sumy Region – 7 military,
- Dnipropetrovsk region: 7 military personnel and 2 employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,
- Zaporizhzhya region: 5 military personnel and 2 employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,
- Khmelnytsky region: 5 military personnel and 1 employee of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,
- Chernihiv region – 5 military,
- Vinnytsia region – 4 military,
- Zhytomyr and Cherkasy regions: 3 military each,
- Ivano-Frankivsk region: 3 military personnel and 1 employee of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,
- Kharkiv and Ternopil regions: 2 military personnel and 1 employee of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,
- Poltava region – 2 military,
- Donetsk, Kirovograd and Rivne regions: 1 military each,
- Volyn Region – 2 employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,
- Mykolaiv region – 1 employee of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The health status of the patients is satisfactory, the disease is mild.
