According to official data, on the last day, May 8, in Slovakia there was not a single new case of coronavirus. The first case of infection in the country was confirmed on March 6.
It is observed that, in total, 1,455 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Slovakia, which is the lowest indicator among neighboring countries. 26 people became victims of the disease in Slovakia.
Remember, it was previously reported that on May 6 in Slovakia, quarantine restrictions were relaxed. Since Wednesday, stores, hotels, temples and restaurants have been launched in the country. Natural healing springs and spas were also opened. However, the number of visitors is still limited.
RBC-Ukraine also wrote that Slovakia had the fewest deaths from coronavirus in Europe. The Slovak Ministry of Health recorded the first death of a patient with a coronavirus on April 1.
