The coronavirus situation is deteriorating rapidly in Russia
The total number of active cases of coronavirus in Russia at the moment is more than 460 thousand.
The daily increase in new coronavirus cases in Russia exceeded the maximum for the entire period of the pandemic, amounting to 27,543 cases (+ 1.3%). During the day, 496 patients died, according to the operational headquarters to combat the pandemic on Friday, November 27.
The day before, the increase in new cases in the Russian Federation also set an anti-record, 25,487 new cases were detected per day.
At the same time, the positive dynamics in the number of patients discharged continues. During the last day, 26,682 patients were discharged in the Russian Federation, which is a record number of patients recovered during the entire period.
In total, 2,215,533 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Russia, 38,558 died and 1,712,174 were discharged.
The total number of active cases in the country (total number of cases minus all recovered and all deaths) is currently 464,801.
On the eve in Russia a mass vaccination against COVID-19 was announced, but the authorities could not name the exact date.
Earlier this week, the Kremlin explained why President Vladimir Putin will not yet be vaccinated with the Sputnik V vaccine, which Russia is actively trying to promote around the world.
