The deputy said he contracted the coronavirus on September 29 (was in self-isolation for the second day), and after eight days a second test was negative.

«Well, do you understand what happened to the coronavirus? Only now have they reported that yesterday’s test came back negative. Thank you all for your support, ”Beleniuk wrote on Instagram.

Zhan Beleniuk had a fever below 37 degrees and a slight body ache.

According to the head of the Verkhovna Rada, Dmitry Razumkov, as of October 6, 22 parliamentarians are on sick leave due to coronavirus. In total, 52 deputies have been sick or are sick with COVID-19.

On September 29, Ukraine’s fifth president and Eurosolidarity People’s Deputy Petro Poroshenko announced that he had contracted the coronavirus. He is hospitalized with bilateral pneumonia. Furthermore, his faction colleague Yana Zinkevich was infected a second time.

Earlier, the president of the Golos party, Kira Rudik, announced that she fell ill with COVID-19. She said she had a high fever for several days.

The Verkhovna Rada adopted Resolution No. 4171 on amendments to the calendar for the fourth session amid an increase in the incidence of coronavirus among MPs.

According to the resolution, the plenary sessions on Thursday and Friday will be replaced by work in commissions, the next two weeks from October 5 to 9 and October 12 to 16, the deputies will also be held, working in committees, commissions, factions and groups.

In Ukraine, as of October 7, 239,337 cases of coronavirus, 105,970 patients, deaths – 4,597.
