In Kiev, a difficult situation with the coronavirus
In hospitals of medical institutions in Kiev, 1961 coronavirus patients are being treated. 1002 people receive oxygen support.
During the last day in Kiev, the laboratory confirmed 1,213 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus. It is a new anti-record that exceeded yesterday’s figure. 23 people died, the total number of victims reached 1013, said on Wednesday, November 18, the mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko.
According to him, among the cases: 673 women from 18 to 94 years old and 51 girls from one month to 17 years old. And also 451 men from 18 to 89 years and 38 children from two months to 17 years. Including 39 doctors became ill.
During the last day, 94 patients were hospitalized in hospitals in the capital. The rest are in self-isolation, under the supervision of doctors.
430 people recovered in Kiev per day. In total, 19,556 inhabitants of the capital have overcome the coronavirus.
Most of the daily cases of the disease were found in the districts of Shevchenko – 169, in Podolsk – 160 and Desnyanskiy (137).
Today, 1,961 patients with coronavirus are being treated in hospitals of the city’s medical institutions. Of these, 32 are children. 723 patients are in serious condition. 1002 people receive oxygen support and 31 patients receive ventilators.
In Kiev, more than 4,500 beds have been prepared to receive COVID patients. Its occupation is almost 52%.

Recall that during the last 24 hours in Ukraine, coronavirus was confirmed in 12,496 people. There are already 570,153 known cases of COVID-19. During the pandemic, 259,079 people recovered and 10,112 deaths.
