In Kiev, 22 people with coronavirus died in one day
During the last day, 22 coronavirus patients died in Kiev. The previous anti-record was set two days earlier, when 21 people died.
During the past day, another 455 coronavirus patients were identified in Kiev, 22 people died. This was announced on Friday, October 16, by the mayor of the city, Vitali Klitschko.
He noted that the coronavirus has claimed the lives of 557 Kiev residents.
There are already 29,412 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the capital today.
Among the cases on the eve of 261 women from 18 to 94 years, 163 men from 18 to 87 years, 15 girls from 2 to 16 years and 16 boys from 2 to 17 years. There are also 17 doctors among the sick.
“82 patients were hospitalized in hospitals in the capital. The rest are in self-isolation, under the supervision of doctors,” Klitschko said.
According to him, during the last day, 189 people have recovered. In total, 10,475 Kyiv residents have overcome the coronavirus.
The largest number of cases of the disease during the last day was found in the Obolonsky district – 88, in Darnitsky – 64 and in the Podolsk region – 52 cases.
Recall, on the eve that 445 new cases of contagion were registered in the capital, and 17 deaths were also reported.
Today it was reported that the queue for ambulances with COVID-19 patients in Kiev was eliminated.
