In France, quarantine restrictions are tightening in several regions. The reason for this is the rapid increase in the number of new coronavirus cases.
Reported by Le Figaro.
In the New Aquitaine region, authorities reportedly urged people to limit gatherings with family and friends to 10 and postpone large celebrations. They also banned the use of alcohol in public places. Due to non-compliance with the requirements, the establishments are threatened with closure.
In Bordeaux, there will be a ban on company meetings of more than 10 people in parks and embankments. Visits to relatives in nursing homes were limited to two people per week. Similar restrictions were announced at Bouches du Rhône.
In 27 municipalities with the highest number of infections, it is prohibited to gather more than 10 people in parks and squares.
Dance parties, drinking alcohol near a bar or in public places after 20:00 are also prohibited, and establishments can only work until midnight.
Recall that the French government considered on September 11 the issue of strengthening the quarantine in the country due to the increase in the incidence of COVID-19.
Likewise, French President Emmanuel Macron did not rule out that a new strict quarantine could be introduced in the country when there is a second wave of coronavirus.
