“To avoid misinformation in the media, I want to confirm the fact that yesterday, after the test procedure for infection with a new type of virus, I showed a positive result with a mild form of COVID-19. My hospitalization did not it was necessary and at this moment I am at home self-isolation, my health is satisfactory, “said Voicu.
Currently, more than 4 thousand cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Moldova, of which 124 patients have died, 1334 have recovered.
Recall, as of the morning of May 3, around 3.5 million people became ill with coronaviruses worldwide. Almost 225 thousand died.
It was also reported that in Moldova, since the coronavirus outbreak, infection has been detected in almost a thousand medical workers, which is a quarter of all cases.
