The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, announced the death of 23 civilians killed as a result of the shelling from the Azerbaijani side in Nagorno-Karabakh. Another 81 civilians were injured.
Mnatsakanyan announced this at a joint press conference with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
According to the Armenian minister, almost 6,000 civilian objects were damaged or destroyed as a result of the hostilities. In addition, 25 energy infrastructure facilities were completely destroyed.
Let us remind you that the aggravation of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh occurred on September 27. Baku and Yerevan, who dispute ownership of the region, blamed each other for escalating the conflict.
It was also said in Armenia that 200 Azerbaijani soldiers died in the battles in Nagorno-Karabakh in the last 24 hours.
Furthermore, Mnatsakanyan stated that Azerbaijan does not observe the ceasefire regime in Nagorno-Karabakh.
RBC-Ukraine also wrote that Azerbaijani troops took control of several more settlements in Nagorno-Karabakh.
