President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recommended to Prime Minister Denis Shmygal not to introduce a shutdown in Ukraine in December. Zelenskiy explained that the weekend quarantine was effective.

The head of state said that the situation in the country is under control and does not require a shutdown.
“The weekend quarantine, whatever the attitude towards him, paid off. The daily number of sick people stopped growing so fast, so we managed to break down this dynamic, so that the medical system would not fail the coup de grace , so that it can bear and endure, “he added. – he is stressed.
We will recall, today Health Minister Maxim Stepanov said that the government does not plan to introduce a blockade in December. The introduction of a strict quarantine can take place in early January.
Additionally, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal has promised to reveal future quarantine restrictions next week. The restrictions are expected to be adopted at a Cabinet meeting.
