In the Kharkiv region, action near the Roma settlement turned into fighting

In the village of Andreevka, in the Kharkov region, on 29 August clashes broke out during an action near a Roma settlement. Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene to ensure law and order.

This was reported to RBC-Ukraine by the press service of the Kharkiv region police.

According to the police, today about 500 people have gathered in a demonstration near the Roma families settlement to express their dissatisfaction with their actions. The action turned into confrontations.

Some 80 policemen and soldiers from the special forces arrived at the scene to stop the crimes.

As a result, no one was injured and no one was arrested either. Now everything is calm near the Roma settlement.

We will remember, on Friday, August 28, in Uman, there were clashes between neighbors and Hasidim pilgrims who tried to reach the city to celebrate the Jewish New Year.
