The parliament said that kindergartens and elementary schools from November will not be closed even in the worst case. This was agreed with the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Health.
This was announced in a RBC-Ukraine comment by the head of the parliamentary science and education committee, Serhiy Babak, according to the article “They have gone to recess: the children will go back to school in November.
Babak believes that children cannot study remotely.
“Because children cannot study remotely, they do not yet have such a level of self-awareness that they can organize. These two links must work,” he said.
Children will return to school if the epidemiological situation allows it. Otherwise, they will temporarily transfer to distance education.
Everything will be at the level of government recommendations, depending on the “quarantine” zones. In addition, the decision will depend on the local authorities, added the popular deputy.
As a reminder, the updated quarantine zones went into effect in Ukraine today.
Before that, the mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk said that nothing would change in the city because of the “red zone”.
