In the match on Matchday 27 of the English Premier League, Chelsea confidently beat visiting Everton with a score of 2: 0.

Thomas Tuchel’s charges opened the scoring in the middle of the first half, when in minute 31, defender Ben Godfrey cut the ball into his own goal after being hit by Marcos Alonso.

At the start of the second half, the Blues could have increased their lead, but Kai Havertz’s goal was canceled after seeing a replay. When manipulating the ball in the visiting penalty area, the German midfielder played frankly with his hand.

However, Chelsea was able to bring the score to 2-0 in their favor in the 65th minute, when the match referee pointed to the penalty spot after Jordan Pickford missed the ball and knocked Havertz himself onto the grass. Giorginho safely converted the penalty.

Thus, Chelsea scored 50 points and remains in fourth place in the Premier League standings, ahead of Everton by four points, but the “toffee” have one game less. Leicester and Manchester United are ahead with 53 and 54 points respectively.
