Checkpoints are shifting to fall work hours

Starting Tuesday, three checkpoints will be open from 7:00 to 18:30. To cross the demarcation line, citizens must comply with quarantine restrictions.

The entry and exit checkpoints in Donbass will be operational in the fall from 1 September. Quarantine restrictions will continue to apply. This was announced on Monday, August 31 at the headquarters of the Joint Forces operation.

It is noted that in connection with the transition to the autumn working hours of the checkpoint, Maryinka, Novotroitskoe and Stanytsia Luhanska will carry out a passage through the demarcation line from 07:00 to 18:30.

In addition, the OOS noted that the passage of citizens will be carried out in accordance with quarantine standards: temperature control, personal protective equipment, social distance. At the same time, all arrivals from the occupied territory will have to go through mandatory self-isolation.

In turn, the admission of people with elevated body temperature above 37.2 degrees and those who have confirmed contacts in the last 14 days with people with COVID-19 will be done separately.

Recall that in July, around 2 million people crossed the border through the checkpoint in Donbas, and this is double the number in June.

It was also reported that in July, separatists made it difficult to pass through the checkpoint in Donbas.
