CD Projekt RED announced that it is ready to return the money to buyers of the console versions of Cyberpunk 2077 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, who were not happy with the quality of the game. This can be done until December 21, 2020.
The game developers apologized for not immediately demonstrating Cyberpunk 2077 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, which is why console owners were unable to assess its quality before purchasing. CD Projekt RED has promised to release two major patches in January and February 2021 that will significantly improve the quality of the game on previous generation consoles. For the PC version of the game, there will also be regular updates with bug fixes.
Previously, many buyers of the console versions of Cyberpunk 2077 criticized the game for poor optimization, graphical errors and FPS drops. Disgruntled players began to grossly underestimate the game’s Metacritic rating. At the time of the news publication, the user rating of Cyberpunk 2077 on PlayStation 4 is 2.8 points out of 10, and the version for Xbox One – 3.7 points out of 10.
