The president proposes to postpone the introduction of cash registers for entrepreneurs until 2022.
The text of a bill by President Volodymyr Zelensky on liberalizing the use of cash registers by businessmen appeared on the parliament’s website.
Thus, bill No. 4439 proposes to postpone until January 1, 2022 the mandatory application of the PPO for natural persons – entrepreneurs who are taxpayers of the single tax of the second – fourth groups and whose income during a calendar year does not exceed the maximum income established for the first group of unique taxpayers. tax (except those that carry out activities in areas with significant risks of tax evasion).
The bill proposes to abolish the penalties for the discrepancy between the cash at the place of settlement and the amount of funds indicated in the daily report of the cash register, and for the lack of preliminary scheduling of goods at the cash register.
It is planned to extend for one year (until January 1, 2022) the application of reduced financial penalties for the violation by commercial entities of certain requirements of the law on the use of cash registers when carrying out settlement transactions.
It is also proposed to exclude the rules on the application of the mechanism of compensation to buyers for complaints about the violation of the established procedure for carrying out settlement transactions of a part of the amount of (financial) fines applied to business entities.
In addition, the bill introduces the concept of “remote services” and provides for the non-use of cash registers in the provision of remote services, whose payments are made exclusively through remote service banking systems and / or funds transfer services.
We will recall that last week protesters near the Rada members of the FOP tried to break through the parliament after the Rada failed to vote to postpone the introduction of cash registers. After that, the people’s deputies approached them. The deputies promised to hold consultations to solve the problem of postponing the cash registers and the protesters, to bring more people.
