The Ministry of Education and Science responded to the clashes that took place near the Ivan Poddubny Olympic College. They assure that the institution is not expected to be liquidated and they demand an investigation into the event.
This was reported by the press service of the ministry.
The department emphasizes that it is about the reorganization of the college, not its liquidation. It is planned to join him with the National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine.
They also promise to preserve the rights of the institution of financial and economic independence, that is, to maintain a separate balance sheet, open an account in the state treasury service with the right to have a network code, a stamp and a seal.
The Ministry of Education and Science emphasized that an educational institution cannot exist independently, since it does not meet the requirements of the legislation necessary to obtain the status of a college in the higher education system.
The ministry also asks law enforcement officials to investigate the situation that occurred in the school’s territory on September 24 and calls to bring to justice those involved in the escalation of the conflict.
We will recall, on September 24, on the territory of the Olympic College named after Ivan Poddubny in Kiev, there were clashes between workers and students of the college, who testified about their “raider seizure”, and the police.
