The elections for the mayor of Kharkiv will take place in the framework of the next local elections on October 25, 2020. Gennady Kernes
The incumbent mayor stands in the local elections of the Kernes block “Successful Kharkiv”. Gennady Kernes has chaired the city council for 10 years, winning the mayoral elections twice in 2010 and 2015.
Before joining politics, Kernes was engaged in entrepreneurial activity, led the multidisciplinary JSC NPK-Holding (real estate rental and transportation, business services, media, including Channel Seven, Tonis, Evening Kharkov).
He was elected deputy of the Kharkiv City Council in 1998, since 2006, the secretary of the City Council, since 2010, in office. Mayor (following the appointment of Mikhail Dobkin as head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration). He won the 2010 mayoral elections.
In April 2014, an attempt was made on the life of Gennady Kernes. Alexander feldman
Candidate for the post of mayor of the city of Kharkov of the “Opposition Platform – For Life”.
Alexander Feldman was elected a member of the Verkhovna Rada of calls IV-VI, VIII. From 2005 to 2011, a member of Yulia Tymoshenko’s party VO “Batkivshchyna” led the party organization in Kharkov. Alexey Kucher
Nominated for the post of mayor of Kharkov by the Servants of the People party.
Oleksiy Kucher has been in charge of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration since November 5, 2019. Previously – People’s Deputy of Verkhovna Rada of the 9th convocation of the Servant of the People party.
Kucher won the 2019 parliamentary elections in majority constituency No. 179 (Kharkiv region) with 50.6% of the vote, three times ahead of his closest opponent. In the Verkhovna Rada, he was appointed chairman of the subcommittee on organization and activities of the legal profession, legal aid bodies. He also headed the inter-factional association “Slobozhanshchina”.

Nikita Soloviev
He will participate in the elections of the mayor of Kharkov in 2020 of the Democratic party Sokira.

Oleg Abramichev
Candidate for the post of mayor of Kharkiv of the European Solidarity party.
