The Verkhovna Rada registered a decree to abolish the weekend quarantine. Parliament presents the corresponding recommendation to the Council of Ministers.
This was stated by Acting Director of the Verkhovna Rada Elena Kondratyuk during a meeting of the parliamentary conciliation council.
“The Cabinet of Ministers resorted to so-called controversial decisions that put many citizens at a standstill. That is why today, under my leadership, a special decree No. 4381 was also registered under my leadership on the recommendation to cancel the end quarantine week for the government, “he emphasized.
The authors of the document are deputies Elena Kondratyuk, David Arakhamia, Yaroslav Zheleznyak, Alexander Kornienko, Yuri Boyko, Irina Gerashchenko.
Recall that a group was created in the Rada to develop laws on business support during the quarantine. During their meeting, the people’s deputies highlighted the need to develop two documents, namely, a bill to support various sectors of the economy during the weekend quarantine and the appropriate recommendations to the Cabinet of Ministers for the necessary changes. .
As RBC-Ukraine wrote, the so-called weekend quarantine took place in Ukraine. From 00:00 hours on Saturday to 00:00 hours on Monday, it was forbidden to receive visitors in catering establishments, beauty salons and gyms. Protests took place in several cities, law enforcement officers blocked markets in cities, they did not introduce quarantine.
