The US company Pfizer is studying the possibility that vaccinated people transmit the coronavirus infection to others.
Pfizer CEO Albert Burla said this issue still needs to be studied. It is reported by the NBC channel.

So, the journalist asked the director of the company if a person can transmit COVID-19 to other people after having been vaccinated against COVID-19.
I think this is a question that still needs to be studied. We are not sure about this now
– he said.
Pfizer also announced that it will not be able to produce enough coronavirus vaccines before the end of the year. Instead of the promised 100 million doses of the drug, the company will produce only half.
What is known about the Pfizer vaccine
- Pfizer has developed a vaccine in collaboration with BioNtech from Germany.
- The vaccine was called – BNT162b2, its effectiveness is 95%.
- The drug received permission for use in the UK, the country has already received a batch of vaccines, it will be distributed to 50 hospitals.
- It is expected that in the near future it will receive the same permit in the countries of the EU and the United States.
- The vaccine must be injected into the body twice. Therefore, 50 million doses will be enough to vaccinate 25 million people.
We add that Ukraine has agreed with Pfizer. The company expects delivery of the vaccine in early Q2 2021.
