Beating cadets in Kiev: victims refused to receive compensation

The man has a wife and son with cancer, so the girls do not want them to carry this burden.

The cadets, who were driven in a car by Major of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Vladimir Kholodny, refused compensation. They announced it at a briefing, Ukrinform reported on Friday, September 11.

The victims were contacted by Kholodny’s attorney, says Alexandra Gui.

“They offer us compensation. We reject it, because we know that he has a wife with cancer and a son. That is, his family should not and should not bear the burden,” Alexandra said.

Tatyana Nikolaeva added that “he crippled us. And he will also cripple his children with his actions.”

When asked about the work of the investigating authorities, the girls replied that they were not satisfied with the investigator’s performance, that he had never come to them to take evidence.

“I am satisfied with the prosecutor’s actions, but I am not happy with the investigator’s actions. The investigator called and said: I am investigator Alexander and I never came to take evidence. I understand that the person has another job and not just our case, but … there is an investigator, we have not seen anything “, – said Galina Nikolin.

He also said that a transportation test had been conducted, which established that the vehicle was in good working order.

According to the girls, there were several versions, in particular that someone else was driving and the car was not working properly. Tatyana Nikolaeva also noted that the coup occurred in the presence of 20 cadets. They also came in uniform and stood on the stairs in line and everyone saw it.

The victims continue to be treated at the Main Military Hospital. They intend to remain in military medicine, inspired by the doctors who are at their side.

Let us remind you that two cadets, who were hit by a drunk driver in Kiev, had their legs amputated.

Also, Major Volodymyr Kholodny, who was sentenced to restraint in court for beating students in Kiev, commented on the incident.
