Alexander Lukashenko proposed to consider the village of Borshchi in the north of the Odessa region as the capital of Ukraine. This proposal was made by the telegram channel “Pool of the First”, which is run by the press service of the President of Belarus.
“Pool of the First proposes to consider the Borshchi settlement as the official capital of Ukraine … This is excellent writing for the media, for headlines, for Facebook posts,” the publication says.
Thus, Father’s press service paraphrased Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba’s comment on the fact that after the expiration of the presidential term, Lukashenka should be mentioned in the Ukrainian media without specifying his position.
The proposed town of Borshch as the capital of Ukraine belongs to the Kotovsky (Podolsky) district of the Odessa region. According to the 2001 census, its population was 1,724 inhabitants. The area of the town is one and a half kilometers.
Earlier, “Strana” wrote that Belarus described Kiev’s statements about Lukashenka’s non-recognition as extremely hostile gestures.
We also report that a well-known Ukrainian political scientist proposed to marry Lukashenko’s son and Zelensky’s daughter.
