Ukraine’s First Deputy Energy Minister Olga Buslavets wrote a letter of resignation from her post. She declined to comment on the reasons for her decision.
Buslavets announced his decision to resign on his Facebook page.
He also posted a photo of his statement.
“I am asking you to remove me from the post of First Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine as of December 22, 2020,” the document says.
Recall, on April 16, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Buslavets to the position of First Deputy Minister of Energy and Environmental Protection – Acting Minister. She served as minister until November 20.
As RBC-Ukraine wrote, today the former executive director of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, Yuriy Vitrenko, submitted a statement as a candidate for the post of First Deputy Minister of Energy.
We add that last week the Rada failed to appoint Vitrenko as First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Energy.
