Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo summed up at the post-match press conference
– In general, I am satisfied with the game, the dedication of the players, the productivity of their actions. Especially in the context of a not very successful Saturday match against Crotone in the Italian championship. We only had one day to prepare for today’s game, but everything went well. Of course, I cannot say that I am satisfied with the 90 minutes of the match, but in general, everyone played as they should. There was a technical flaw, the guys made passing mistakes, but overall I’m happy with the way we played this game.
– Can we say that Juventus won the class today, showing almost one hundred percent implementation?
– First of all, we have achieved this result thanks to the players we have at our disposal. And we had many moments. Especially in the first half. But sadly, we missed most of these opportunities. In the second half we came out more focused and the game was immediately different.
– Lucescu is your teacher. At the same time, today he made his debut as a coach in the Champions League. Did Lucescu surprise you with something?
– This man played a fundamental role in my football life: he taught me to be a professional footballer, I owe him a lot. And today my baptism of fire took place. I am satisfied with this, because I really respect Mircea Lucescu.
– In Ukraine, Buschan is already being compared to Buffon. What do you think of this comparison? And what do you think of the Dynamo goalkeeper game?
– I can’t say I know Buschan very well. But I know that he already plays for the Ukraine team. As for the Buffon comparisons … I think Buschan still needs to grow. After all, Buffon, despite his age, still retains his magnificent form. This is achieved thanks to its efficiency.
