[ad_1]

According to the draft budget-2021 approved in first reading, pensions will grow next year. In addition, additional payments will be introduced for certain categories of pensioners.

This is stated in the explanatory note to the bill published on the Rada website.

It is reported that the minimum pension (based on the subsistence minimum for people who have lost the ability to work) next year will be:

  • from January 1 to 1769 hryvnia;
  • from July 1 to 1854 hryvnia;
  • since December 1, 1934 hryvnia.

In addition, from May 1, the indexation of pensions will take place, and Ukrainians aged 80 and over will begin to receive a monthly surcharge in the amount of 500 hryvnia.

In addition, as of July 1, a monthly supplement of 400 hryvnia It will begin to receive pensioners from 75 to 80 years old.

Under these conditions, budget expenditures, which will be directed to the Pension Fund of Ukraine for the payment of pensions, in 2021 will amount to 203.8 billion hryvnia.

We will recall, RBC-Ukraine in the material “Budget games. How the cabinet and the Rada divide the State Treasury by 2021” wrote that the opposition has put forward many deliberately impassable initiatives, for example, raising old-age pensions to at least 5 thousand hryvnia.

It was also previously reported that 10 million Ukrainians will receive a pension increase in 2021.
