The SBU press center reported this to Interfax-Ukraine.

«Based on the court rulings received previously, searches are carried out at the facilities of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union-Nafta, ”the press center told the agency.

The secret service emphasized that the investigative actions were not related to the journalistic investigation of Bihus.info, released yesterday, which said that the BRSM-Nafta gas station network finances the party of the pro-Russian blogger Anatoly Shariy.

Earlier today, the former people’s deputy, member of the supervisory board of Ukrzaliznytsia Serhiy Leshchenko wrote on Telegram that the SBU «carries out a large-scale operation in the BRSM-Nafta company “due to the alleged illegal financing of the Sharia party.

According to him, the searches are carried out by the second department of the Department of counterintelligence protection of the state’s interests in the economic sphere of the SBU, which specializes in the fuel and energy complex.

«There are 24 searches being carried out, involving 30 SBU agents, and the purpose of the special operation is to identify the sources of illegal financing of the pro-Russian political project, ”said Leshchenko.

Internet profile publication enkorr writes with reference to sources that the SBU, in particular, is conducting searches at the Belarusian Republican Youth Union gas station at Magistralny Vyzd 1-b in Kharkiv.

«A group of inspectors, standing with brochures, checking everything. The station’s employees asked the clients to leave their territory as soon as possible, ”the newspaper quotes the words of an eyewitness.

He added that law enforcement officers are monitoring the actions of all employees, from the tanker to the station manager.

The BRSM-Nafta service station network was founded in 1992 by Andrey Biba. It has 196 service stations and is one of the five largest in Ukraine in terms of sales.

In early October this year, BRSM-Nafta announced the seizure of the company’s largest oil deposit in the Kiev region by Fund participants to overcome the consequences of the Vasilkovskaya tragedy. A few days later, the Republican Youth Union of Belarus reported that they had regained control of the object.
