Ukraine is not against the deployment of British paratroopers on its territory. In September, British paratroopers participated in exercises on the territory of the Nikolaev region.

Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba stated this in an interview with the BBC.

According to him, Ukraine is not against more frequent joint exercises with the British army.

“If they (the British paratroopers in the Nikolaev region) land there and stay, we will not object either. From the first day of the Russian aggression, Britain was there and provided practical support, and not just in military terms,” he said. Kuleba.

According to him, there is fruitful cooperation between Ukraine and Great Britain.

“It was not in vain that the British paratroopers landed. All of this is the result of very painstaking and fruitful work, which does not depend on whether Britain is in the Normandy format,” Kuleba added.

We will recall, in mid-September, military exercises “United Efforts-2020” were held in the Nikolaev region. They were detained in response to the Russian exercises in Crimea. At the same time, British paratroopers participated in them.

Also RBC-Ukraine wrote that Great Britain is interested in a military partnership with Ukraine.
