The deputy head of President Kirill Tymoshenko’s office said the situation with the coronavirus in Ukraine is critical. According to him, if the Ukrainians do not comply with the weekend quarantine, Ukraine can return to the lockdown.
This was announced on the air of the program “Freedom of expression of Savik Shuster”.
“Now the situation is really critical. We are going back to where we started. If we don’t observe the weekend quarantine and all the rules, we can really go back to lockdown,” Tymoshenko said.
At the same time, he added that the introduction of the weekend quarantine is the only possibility that Ukraine will not introduce a blockade.
“We want to stop the growth in the number of diseases every day, stabilize the situation, if we succeed, then reduce the number of diseases. While we stabilize the situation, there is a weekend quarantine,” said the deputy head of the OP.
Remember that a weekend quarantine has been introduced in Ukraine. However, according to experts, it will not produce an effect such that it prevents a blockage.
Also, in the RBC-Ukraine material you can find out how the quarantine of the first weekend took place in the cities of Ukraine.
In the new issue of “Savik Shuster’s Freedom of Speech,” the studio guests – Vladimir Omelyan, Kira Rudyk, Andrey Sadovy, Alexander Kubrakov, and others – attempted to answer the following questions: who gained power in cities as a result of local elections; why during the expression of will there was such a low voter turnout in the country. And, of course, we are talking about the “Big Build” at the expense of funds allocated to combat COVID-19.
