The president-elect of the United States, Joe Biden, has introduced new members of his administration. They will deal with climate and energy issues.

If the United States Congress approves Biden’s proposed government, Michael Regan will become the first black to head the EPA.
House member Deb Haaland will take over as the United States Secretary of the Interior. This woman politician will be the first indigenous representative to serve in the US government.
In addition, Biden offered Gina McCarthy, who served in the administration of 44-President Barack Obama, to assume the position of national climate adviser.
Former Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm will become Secretary of Energy in the Biden administration.
Remember, Biden promised to create the “most diverse” government in US history. Biden wants members of the future American government to include representatives of different races and genders.
Joe Biden previously settled on a candidate for the position of finance minister. He nominated the former head of the Federal Reserve, Janet Yellen. Additionally, it emerged that key communication positions in the Biden administration will be held by women.
We will recall, the Biden administration will receive powers in January in the context of the worsening situation with the coronavirus.
