According to him, some 60 people have already moved from Minsk to Kiev, Odessa and Lvov. Employees are also hired from local specialists.

“Ukraine has several advantages. The first is the local talent market. The second is that everyone speaks Russian. And it is a little easier for the kids who come from Belarus. There are issues with immigration legislation, but their government is directly involved in And fourth, fiscal conditions in Ukraine are very favorable, even more favorable than in Belarus, “said Mikita Mikado.

According to him, the company conducted a survey and 83% of employees said that they would like to leave Belarus. Furthermore, following the arrest of four company employees, PandaDoc decided to close its office in Belarus.

Mikado added that the company will use the standard business system for Ukraine and employees will be registered as private entrepreneurs.

However, the company encountered some difficulties in doing so.

“Most Belarusian companies move here and choose in the same way with a private entrepreneur, as most Ukrainian companies. At the same time, a Belarusian programmer cannot get a residence permit in this way. Because he must be officially employed You cannot get a residence permit through an individual employer After 90 days you have to leave the country … And hiring them in the state is not profitable from the point of view of the tax burden. Conditions in Latvia are better, “Mikado said.

At the moment, those who have moved from Minsk, 90 days have not yet expired, and they are “somehow trying to solve this problem”, in which the Ukrainian side helps them.
