Goodbye Roman Bondarenko
On November 20, a farewell ceremony for Roman Bondarenko was held in Minsk: he was beaten by “Chihari”, people in civilian clothes who attack the protesters with the support of the Belarusian security forces.

A farewell ceremony for Roman Bondarenko was held in Minsk on November 20, thousands of people turned out to say goodbye to him. They brought red and white flowers and garlands with the inscription of the Hero of Belarus.
An action in his memory was held at the Belarusian State Academy of Arts, where Roman Bondarenko studied. Near the building where Roman was studying, the students left their silhouettes outlined in chalk on the asphalt and wrote “Your friends are around here”, “We will not forget, we will not forgive.”
A column of people accompanied the hearse with the body of Roman Bondarenko from the Gamarnik temple to the northern cemetery, where he was buried.
Phone conversations
On the eve of the network, the telephone conversations of two men, whose voices are similar to the voices of the head of the Belarusian Ice Hockey Federation, Dmitry Baskov and athlete Dmitry Shakuta, were leaked. They discuss the consequences of the attack on Bondarenko.
Subsequently, a recording was published in which voices are heard, similar to the voices of Baskov himself and Alexander Lukashenko’s press secretary, Natalia Eismont, one of the officials closest to him. In particular, they are discussing the creation of flying detachments to combat the visual turmoil of Lukashenka’s opponents, in particular painting on murals and cutting white, red and white ribbons.

According to testimony, people from one of those detachments later skirmished with Bondarenko. It is unknown who exactly mortally wounded him.
