The oligarch plans to do this after the adoption of the law by Rada
The former owner of the Privatbank oligarch Igor Kolomoisky said that after the approval of the law on banks, he plans to appeal to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) and cooperate in this matter with the former head of the Presidential Administration of the time of Yanukovich, the lawyer Andrei Portnov. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to a comment by Kolomoisky hromadske.
He stressed that the adoption of this law would postpone his fight in court for Privatbank for a while, but would open the door to the ECHR.
“When the law is passed, I will appeal … I was robbed, this law closes me the opportunity to sue for a certain time in Ukraine, that is, the possibilities of restoring justice are exhausted and I can appeal to the European Court. By the way, Portnov does a comment in some way. I’ll probably turn to him to serve us, and we’ll get the European Court’s verdict that nationalization was illegal, we have to return everything. So what? Will it be easier for Ukraine? Sooner or later And it turns out, what is the new power became complicit in the past in this matter, “- said Kolomoisky.
Previously it was reported that the Ministry of Justice believes that if the law on banks is approved, the return of Privatbank to the oligarch Igor Kolomoisky will be “99% impossible”.
RBC-Ukraine wrote that the “Servant of the People” stated that parliament on the banks it needed to lend to the IMF could support the second reading no earlier than May. To vote, it is necessary that the law on amendments to the regulations of the Verkhovna Rada comes into force.
