Azerbaijan fears a massive influx of Armenian volunteers from other countries to Nagorno-Karabakh
The Attorney General of Azerbaijan recalled the public appeal of the Yerevan official to all Armenians living in different countries.
The Baku official called on the governments of several countries, including Ukraine, with a request to prevent the departure of Armenians living there to Nagorno-Karabakh to participate in the war against Azerbaijan. The Azerbaijan Prosecutor General’s Office announced this on Monday, October 5.
The resources were sent to the attorneys general and ministers of justice of the United States, Canada, Australia, Germany, Russia, Georgia, Ukraine, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Uruguay, Iraq, Iran, Argentina.
Appeals were also sent to Brazil, Bulgaria, Poland, Lebanon, Greece, Syria and France. In all these countries, Armenians have a large diaspora, says the report.
