The demobilization of the participants in the hostilities in Karabakh will last until April 15 next year.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has announced from December 25 to April 15, 2021 a gradual demobilization of the military summoned in connection with the military operations in Nagorno-Karabakh.

“From December 25, 2020 to April 15, 2021, to gradually demobilize military personnel called up for military service in mobilization on the basis of the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan from September 28, 2020,” says the presidential decree.

Let us remind you that hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh ceased on November 9. Russian peacekeepers have been brought into the region. According to the latest data, as a result of the month-and-a-half conflict, more than 7.5 thousand soldiers died from all sides.
