Azerbaijani troops approached Stepanakert

Azerbaijan took control of the strategically important city of Shushi

In Nagorno-Karabakh, they acknowledged the loss of the town of Shushi, located 11 kilometers from Stepanakert.

Azerbaijani troops are closing in on Stepanakert, the press secretary of the president of the unknown Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, Vahram Poghosyan, said on Facebook on Monday, November 9.

“Unfortunately, the chain of rifts still haunts us and the city of Shushi is completely out of our control. The enemy is on the outskirts of Stepanakert, and its existence is already threatened,” he wrote.

Poghosyan declared that it is necessary to do everything possible in Stepanakert and in other directions, “if we want Shushi to be ours again, so that Artsakh is preserved.”

As you know, the town of Shushi is located 11 km from the capital of NKR Stepanakert. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev announced the capture of the city the day before. But Armenia said the outcome of the battles for Shushi will be clear on Monday.

The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has released a video of the city of Shushi.

In addition, the Azerbaijani army publishes a video of the use of kamikaze drones.

Let us remind you that the escalation of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh began on September 27.
