Civilians suffer in the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan
The Mingechevir hydroelectric complex provides power to the country and stops possible floods.
The Armenian armed forces launched a missile attack on the Azerbaijani city of Mingachevir, Azerbaijani presidential aide Hikmet Hajiyev said on his Twitter page on October 4.
There is a reservoir and a large power plant in Mingachevir, Hajiyev said. The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry also announced bombings in the city of Terter.
The Defense Ministry of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh republic has denied information about attacks on Mingachevir, Reuters reports.
Earlier, on October 4, the Armenian Defense Ministry said that the army of the unrecognized NKR destroyed 124 drones, 14 helicopters, 17 aircraft, 368 armored vehicles, as well as four MLRS Smerch from the enemy of Azerbaijan.
Furthermore, in the course of hostilities, 3,154 Azerbaijani soldiers were killed, according to Yerevan.
