On the International Space Station, the Russian astronauts, leaving the search module in open space, lost a part of the spacecraft. We are talking about the soft handrail of the pressurized container, in which they carried the packaging.

At the same time, Roskosmos ensures that the incident will not affect the necessary work. This was reported by “Interfax”.

“The handrail is not critical to operation, the EVA program continues normally,” says the message.

The detail flew into space during the departure of cosmonaut Sergei Ryzhikov from the ISS module, which was shown during a video broadcast on the Roscosmos website.

Thus, on November 18, the Russian cosmonauts outside the station began to carry out a series of works to prepare the arrival of the new Russian module “Science”.

The second MSC outing is tentatively scheduled for February 2021. In total, integrating the Science module will require around 10 spacewalks.

Let us remind you that before that, oxygen leaked into the ISS in the Russian section of Zvezda, and a pressure drop was also recorded. At the Mission Control Center, astronauts were advised to use foam rubber and duct tape to remove a scratch on board the ISS.

It was also reported that the bathroom in the Zvezda module was denied in October and put into operation the next day. But a few days later, the Russians on the ISS again had a problem with the air, the toilet and the vacuum cleaner broke.
