Assistant to the people’s deputy Yurchenko announced suspicion of a large bribery

The assistant Ivan Fischenko, according to the investigation, was an intermediary in the receipt of 13 thousand dollars by the People’s Deputy Yurchenko of the 200 thousand planned.

NABU detectives informed the assistant town deputy about the suspicion of complicity in which the town deputy received a $ 13,000 bribe. This was announced on Tuesday, September 15, by the press service of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office.

The SAP does not name the people’s assistant and the assistant, however, apparently, they are the people’s assistant to the People’s Servant Alexander Yurchenko, Ivan Fishchenko.

“By agreement of the SAP prosecutors, the NABU detectives reported the suspicion to the assistant to the People’s Deputy of Ukraine, who mediated receiving 13 thousand dollars for making proposals to the bill on the processing of municipal solid waste and inciting to provide 200 thousand dollars of illegal profits for bribery of people’s deputies – members of the Committee to support these amendments “, – said in the message.

It is observed that in mid-August of this year, law enforcement officers recorded the facts of receiving a part of the illegal profit from the specified person.

It is also reported that a petition was filed with the VASU to choose a containment measure for the suspect in the form of detention.

The Supreme Anticorruption Court is already considering a request from the Prosecutor’s Office to choose a containment measure for an assistant to the popular deputy. The corresponding video of the judicial session was published by the press service.

Therefore, the prosecutor requests to apply a preventive measure to Fischenko in the form of arrest with the alternative of paying a bail of 5 million 658 UAH.

We will recall that NABU detectives caught the “people’s servant” Yurchenko in extortion and receiving a large bribe for the bill on household waste, said a few days ago the people’s deputy Geo Leros. Yesterday, Yurchenko wrote a statement to resign from the Servants of the People faction.

Today, NABU reported the details of the bribery case and released a recording of the conversations between the People’s Deputy and his assistant with an undercover detective. They also reported that the Attorney General has not signed the suspicion to the People’s Deputy Yurchenko since last week, despite the materials provided by the investigation.

The Presidency of the Republic also commented on the situation today, noting that Zelensky does not tolerate corruption in any of its manifestations.
