The head of the Servants of the People parliamentary faction describes each investment in road construction as “an investment in ourselves.”

The money taken from the coronavirus fund to build roads is an “investment in ourselves.” The head of the Servants of the People parliamentary faction, David Arakhamia, said this on Saturday, August 29, on Ukraine’s channel 24.

“If we had not spent them, then we would not have made roads and then borrowed for roads. That is, we would have borrowed this money anyway, only we would have let it go not by coronavirus, but by roads,” said the popular deputy .

Arakhamia emphasized that every hryvnia invested in the road brings six hryvnia to the budget.

“The money must work. Every hryvnia invested in roads contributes six hryvnias to the budget over four years. It is an investment in ourselves. We are getting closer to doing 4,200 km this year, this is a historical record, and the program it is doing 20 thousand km in five years ”, he said.

Earlier, the head of the Servants of the People faction, David Arahamia, announced possible staff rotations in the government this fall.
